Valuations

Our Broking Team is both a significant buyer and seller of well-cellared, mature fine wines. We are particularly keen to buy full cases of classified growth Bordeaux and Burgundy, in addition to wines for which we are exclusive agents for the primary market:

• Bordeaux – Châteaux Pétrus, Trotanoy, Latour à Pomerol, La Grave à Pomerol, Magdelaine, Tertre Rôteboeuf, La Fleur-Pétrus and Hosanna.
• Burgundy – Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Clos de Tart, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Bonneau du Martray and Domaine Leflaive.
• Italy – Giacomo Conterno
• Spain – Pingus and Flor de Pingus
• Champagne – Salon

How to sell your wine

We offer both broking and outright purchase terms, depending on market conditions.

• If you choose to broke your wines , we list your wines and on completion of the sale we pay you the agreed selling price less 10%. You therefore receive 90% of the selling price.
• An outright purchase typically means you receive the selling price, less 20%.

In both cases, for wines that are not stored with Corney & Barrow, we offer a free collection service and insurance from any address in the UK mainland. We also offer free valuations.

All wines from our broking list are subject to rigorous quality checks. Please note that we do not source from auctions, The United States or Asia.
